Joining the troop is quick and easy

• Contact us to arrange a visit and meet the troop leadership (scout and adult leaders). Email Us: david.freed6@gmail.com

• Complete the Boy Scout Youth Application

• Complete the Medical Form: Complete parts A and B

• Provide a copy of your scout’s Medical Insurance Card

  • This is necessary if your son is on a trip without a parent

• Return all forms to the Troop's Welcome Coordinator along with the BSA dues

Then:

• Read our information package

• Come to our meetings and enjoy!

• Sign up for our fun trips!

• Purchase a Scout uniform at the Scout Store or online at https://www.scoutshop.org/

  • Shirt, belt, shorts/pants, socks

  • Book cover for wire-bound handbook is recommended

• The troop will provide the following parts of the uniform:

  • The Boy Scout Handbook, wire bound

  • 382 Badge

  • The Mayflower Council Badge

  • Green shoulder loops

  • Patrol patch (after being assigned to a patrol)

• Sew the patches on the uniform according to the uniform guide

• As a troop we encourage all of our parents to partake in Youth Protection Training. Please consider taking the time to complete this valuable online certification.

• We also encourage parents to volunteer some of their time to the Troop. If you'd like to help, speak to one of our Adult Leaders.
